The last thing he sees after using the sphere is darkness, followed by the sound of crickets in the night.
The forest was filled with the sounds of life. The leaves swayed softly in the wind, a hare ran somewhere, and at the edge of the forest there was the sound of a fall. Someone growled heavily and the forest fell silent.
