Chapter Text
The place you don't call home, yet you run off to.
I mean the otherworld. That eerie feel to it, how'd you even end up there? You don't remember. The cold air of the apartment, the concrete apartment filled with creatures that are hideous, petrifying and if you were sane at the least, you'd know better than to come back. Disorienting earthquakes that subtly change your location, you never really know where you are.
Its not like you belong here
Hallways looping, again and again, no matter how far you wander off to, you'll be back. Your vision gets inverted and the rooms shift color, this iridescent world that you live in cracks away from actual reality. Every place interlinked, everyone interlinked. It makes you wonder if you too are.. interlinked. This strange connection, its awfully peculiar, you're guilty, you're regretting. When have you not, but you just didn't think it would end like this.
"Goddammit, I can't believe I'm here again." you whine as you endlessly stare into the dark hallway the elevator left you at.
The green glow of the sign, your only exit had a calming effect. The connection between your world and this one. Problem with this funky elevator was that it would shift, get lost and you fear that you might never find it again one day. It doesn't matter for the time being, as you're already here, so figure out what you're going to do next. You glance back one last time, you might never find your way back home.
Right at your feet. Black silhouette, long hair, Japanese yukata. The pale body with its face covered by the long deep hair and blood...
"Hehehehe" a high pitch laughter, echoed bouncing off the empty walls
You're not surprised... not at all. Of course its him. How sweet of him to greet you!
"Mr. Crawling!", you announced with great thrill, he must've felt my body language enough to utter a:
"happy cute"
Honestly, it was relieving to be encountered by Mr. Crawling as soon as you got off, and not some evil entity, or violent ones. Your face contorted even thinking about Mr. Machete, ah bloodshed for absolutely no reason. Then there was that walking talking tampon of a thing, carrying a red umbrella like it was raining all the time. Seriously, these are some mental creatures, you wouldn't blame them too much though. Who wouldn't go mental here.
Truthfully, you found comfort in this place and sometimes even them. You're quite smaller than everyone else here, it feels nice to be quaint and dainty. In your world, tons of skinny, petite, some even being tall and light weighted. All their desirable bodies, it made you wonder life, why does it favor them?
You look down at your legs..my legs.., the same grotesque emotion swallowed you. The repulse was penetrating.
"Sad?", mumbled the crawling creature which had hair long enough to tie a noose. You were a bit taken back, you had no clue they could even sense emotions. Mr. Crawling seemed
like a monster kindish dude that had no sentients, similar to all the other dwelling creatures. It freaked you out, but why? Until you noticed that he was still awaiting for some kind of answer.
"Not sure.", you answered in the same language that these residents spoke in. Sometimes you find yourself dumbfounded because you mismatch all the words and when they're telling you to stop, you often hear run, slamming into death like some illiterate dumbass. Though you don't actually 'die', there is no 'death' for you here,so what are you waiting for?
You found this conversation quite awkward, so you initiated to walk around these walls with Mr. Crawling. Dark, creepy hallways not really your thing but atleast better than roaming around alone.
Alone? no...i don't want to be alone. i don't want to be like this..
" But you are, really really lonely...bohoo.. poor little //////"
It's your fault, sour girl.
These concrete walls really didn't seem stable, shaking, tumbling. All the grime accumulated in this area was a real eyesore, literally your eyes have been carrying this dust around literally everywhere and you wonder if this was the reason your eyes seemed like it was high all the time. Changing colors, rainbow to monotone, uhm.. what an experience.
An orange blob of head rolled towards you. Your vision spun with it, odd.. so you stopped the severed head from going any further. Mr. Chopped.. not really good at heading at a certain direction is he?
You shook off your own lame joke in your mind.
"Moving! moving! hurts!", He expressed that quite..expressively, you thought. Asides from that, rolling head first would hurt.
"Who moved you?", you asked feeling sooo out of it.
"That! behind you, no more play!", He voiced as his face went though varying forms of self expressions that you just discovered.
You turned behind and-
" Oh my fucking god not this mf again.", you scorned as soon as you turned behind. It was that goat thingy. This felt all so surreal to you, like you were in some coma and were fed some anti-depressant pills, because you could only describe what was standing in front of you as a nightmare. As disdain and vulgar as you could sense this goat was definitely not sane, so you probably wouldn't try anything. Playing by its rules, now what does it want.
"Head, play!play!", It said in its language and you were surprised that it was not bleating. Before you could do anything with this situation.
"Head no play, leave now.", a calm soothing voice responded. With that the goat resident went away, most likely irritated and high chance of causing trouble later.
You looked over to find pale skin like every resident, and tall. White hair long hair, quite dull, oh and a syringe!
"Mr. Silvair!", you announced merrily. Thanking him inwardly, today was not that day you could handle a berserk animal.
It seemed as though this one resident was the only one which had certain sentient. He was assertive, intelligent and was a fanatic for knowledge. You found it intriguing, but his lab often caused you to get the urge to puke. You had an unpleasant reminiscent of that one ending.
At least your done with that bullshit.
"Come", Mr. Silver gestured, seemingly welcoming enough to follow him. Hoping he doesn't try to make you his lab rat again.
It doesn't hurt much. Not like how it hurts in your world. Some of the violent residents that reside here really toughened up your skin. It's freezing in this apartment, it makes you numb. All of them seem cold blooded, you certainly not. Your fingers turn purple some days, in an ordinary life it wouldn't seem normal, but it just mesmerize you into deep thought, the thoughts you can never get out of.
"It hurts."
"Lies."
"Lies."
Amidst both of these dimensions, there a strange telephone that rings, that calls for you. When you pick it up, someone unknown yet familiar speaks to you. It's watching you, it hears every beat of your heart and you know it.
It's not like Mr. Huge face, unlike him this one sees right through you, while you can't even see it.
...
Thinking about Mr. Huge face, you find it a bit humorous. His silhouette of his gigantic face, his cheeks grey as steel reminding you of concrete. The way his fingers easily lifts you up, breaking the fourth wall of this endless place. You wondered if he knew that this wasn't actually what was outside of these rigid walls. You scoff knowing that this wasn't it.
....
Your light foot steps were the only sound that filled up this still place. You noticed that while moving non of the residents here made much of a sound, asides from certain ones which wanted to assert dominance. It felt like an enternity reaching silvairs basement. The whole way there you were fidgeting, rarely finding your hands at your sides and walking like a normal person. Measuring how fat you feel by cuffing your wrist with your fingers.
"Disgusting.Every step I take as I try to burn off this weight. "
"I wish I could cut this fat off my body. "
"Maybe I can ask Mr. Silavir, it won't hurt for long, nothing tastes better than skinny anyways ."
---
Creaak...
You didn't realise walking down the stairs to the his place, but you finally reached. Exhausted for who knows why. You just plopped right onto the couch, fast asleep.
