Work Text:
“Where are you taking me?” Pin asked, uneasy with where she was. Her and Gaty were out in a flower field, looking seemingly endless and dreamy. Pin stared in awe at the beautiful bed of sunflowers ahead.
“I thought it’d be nice to unwind after what happened,” Gaty replied. “I thought this’d make us both feel better.” She gave Pin a warm, welcoming smile, hoping this could help her as much as it does for herself.
As Pin took in the scenery, she felt less tense. The glittering sunlight, the sunflowers…
Gaty made a really good choice.
They both treaded slowly across the boundless field, admiring the golden hour while they still could. With Gaty, it felt like she not only cared, but understood. She’d always find ways to regulate Pin in ways that not even Coiny could.
She understood her. Helped her through the game without her closest friend. Loved her.
This was perfect.

As Pin laid in her bed, tired of constantly trying to break down the exit door, she stared at the room she had set up with Coiny in the elimination space and noticed something off about her old team photo.
Where was Gaty?
