   She had never expected to find herself precisely fifty-four years back through time, landing squarely in the year 1944. Now she was faced with the daunting prospect of spending an entire year trapped in the past. Hermione, being the sensible witch she was, decided upon the most logical course of action: complete her seventh year, naturally.

   But everything changed the moment she discovered that one of her fellow students was none other than Tom Riddle. Meanwhile, Riddle, having discovered he now had genuine competition, this new witch becoming something of an... obsession.
