What if Kai never became a ninja? What if everyone else followed script, not realizing there was a thread out of place? What happens when an old ghost finds a new purpose for that thread.
And what happens when that thread choses to weave its own fate instead?
(A Kai antihero/villain fic in which he stuck to his original convictions and didn’t ever truly become a ninja. Morro comes along and finds an explosive amount of potential in what he believes is a kindred and powerful spirit. Chaos ensues. A lot of mess and explored dynamics, along with a healthy dose of nuancing current character point I either felt were under-discussed or thought would be fun additions. Hope you enjoy!)
