Summary: She could plainly remember the dream where she had been kissing Yuri. Passionately. Deeply. What was wrong with her?
The dream ended so abruptly that Serena swore that she had whiplash.
Her eyes flew open and immediately her stomach wrenched. She squeezed her eyes shut.
She could plainly remember the dream where she had been kissing Yuri. Passionately. Deeply.
But, did she really have feelings for him? Somewhere deep inside? Serena decided immediately that she didn't...right?
She supposed that it didn't matter because dreams were just thought vomit. They didn't really matter anything.
And, yet...
However, her treacherous emotions knew better. Or, they though that they did.
Most of the time, Serena just wanted to walk away or ignore him. Just complete their job and drift away to their own separate corners and try to avoid a headache in the process.
However, just a minute ago, they were passionately kissing on a beach somewhere in a contour of Serena's mind. It was more like a nightmare instead of a dream.
Serena adored beaches, but Yuri not so much. Where had her mind even concocted that dream?
She could even remember the sun shining on Yuri's vivid hair and smell the salt on the breeze. She remembered being happy with him.
Serena was already wondering how she was going to face him tomorrow if she saw him.
Whatever the case, she and Yuri couldn't work in real life. Yuri was so arrogant and toxic. Not to mention predatory. She had been all but coerced to work with him by the Professor.
Now, they were stuck together. But, in her drams, they had literally been stuck together
Serena sighed deeply to herself.
What was wrong with her brain?
