Summary
“Enzo, every single cell in my body right now is telling me to tear into your throat and not stop until your head tears off of your body,” Damon hisses out, fingers forming in and out of fists rapidly, trying his hardest to focus on the feeling of the metal of his daylight ring digging into the skin of his finger. On the sound of the old floors of the house creaking underneath their weight, quite literally anything else but the sound of blood flowing through Enzo’s body and the faint smell of it permeating its way into his nostrils. “So I’m not too sure about that.” He finishes, giving the other vampire a sharp smile; meaningless in its action.
“You can control it. I know you can.”
“I promise you buddy, I can’t.” Damon hisses, trying to focus on his breathing, on not lunging at the other man, on trying to keep his fangs to himself, thank you very much, but, well, it’s proving to not be the easiest of tasks.
Damon watches with wary eyes as Enzo starts to walk towards him slowly, his expression masked and his eyes unreadable.
“What are you doing?” Damon draws out his words, blue eyes flitting across Enzo’s face and body.
“Proving a point,” Enzo says cryptically.
