It's an average day in the world, but the Kira killings are rather... Concerning to people.
Michael Afton sits back against the couch, watching whatever his father is watching on the TV, which in this case is the news. William Afton seems more interested in the news than usual, it spikes confusion in Michael so he listens closely to whatever the news talks about. The woman's Australian accident is a bit difficult to understand but the captions are there.
She says, "Recently we have found that the Kira killings have started going further than just this city, it's spreading throughout the country! Kira is much too powerful, and though Kira sounds bad, he has lowered the crime rate in the entire country by 60%, this changes everything for the country!"
Michael tunes everything out, now indulging fully into his own thoughts... "What kind of person would do such a thing?" "If he got caught what would happen to him?" "What if Kira isn't even human?" Etc.
The wave of his father's hand near his face snaps him out of it. "Michael?? Get up and help me with dinner!" Michael nods and walks behind William to the kitchen.
