Summary
All the work Batman and his young ward Robin are doing in Gotham, is finally beginning to pay off. Violent crime is way down, the streets are cleaner, the drug trade has plumetted. Now bigger, larger threats loom on the horizon. Threats the newly formed Justice League will take on together. But Bruce won't let his guard down with these new colleagues; not while an all powerful, world adored god with no clear motives or weaknesses walks among them. And Bruce has seen there is a dark side to Superman, and the fear that nothing could stop him if he turns evil scares him like nothing has before, so with distrust and paranoia growing, finding a contingency plan begins to consume his days, putting strain on all his relationships; Alfred, Dick, and his part time fuck buddy, budding journalist Clark Kent. The world views Superman like a prince, a god, eager and willing to embrace the sunlight personified who flies amongst them. And try as Superman might, he won't convince Bruce, not even with those familiar kind eyes and gorgeous smile.
