Summary
Only a few things were endless, and those lay even beyond Castiel’s comprehension. Roads, however, didn’t belong to that category. Distance markers could still be found at the curb, despite the world being in shambles. Even without them, the spacing between two points didn’t change. At least not in ways humans were interested in.
If Castiel were to remind Dean of the fact that plate tectonics and other physical forces like atmospheric conditions changed the form of the Earth constantly, Dean would only huff and drive on.
