Mace had to hand it to Depa; his former apprentice had mastered the art of framing whatever she asked for as nothing more than a reasonable suggestion.
“…I’m not sure that’s wise,” Mace replied.
“He’s old enough,” Depa said. “And he’s frustrated. I agree that he has to stay with the younger children for now, but he would like to be treated as his own age. He wants some measure of autonomy.”
“Autonomy is one thing,” Mace pointed out. “A lightsaber is another.”
