You always see him standing on the edge of the cliff, looking at the western horizon. The wind blew through his hair. You never saw his face, never asked him about who he is. Simply admire his form from afar.
One day you take a shot and ask him about his name. He is hesitant, but answers you.
"Maglor then. I live there, by the ege of the forest. You're welcome any time." You smiled shyly.
Ewentually he shows up at your door. Maglor didn't know why he took this invite. He was alone for so long that he simply accepted this as a normal way to live.
And then you show up.
He was aware from the beginning, that you had an interest in him. That you watched him from afar while he was looking at the sea.
And now he sits in your kitchen, in your house, listening to you complain about weather and people from the nearby village.
