Summary
It feels stupid to be afraid of the scare, because it wasn’t even a jumpscare, and it was freaking Minecraft, but Avery can't get the horrible face–or, mask?–out of his mind. Or the ending. He guesses that's why it's a horror ARG, and not a flowers-and-rainbows ARG.
For a moment, on the glassy cover of his PC, he mistakes his reflection for the King's reflection in the darkness of the room and freezes. It's so stupid. They look nothing alike.
He gets to his feet and finds his keys. He just wants–He's just going to drive.

Derek straightened slightly, like he was bracing for something.

Avery choked. “A what—?”
