He imagines what it would be like. He watches Malfoy walk away through the rain, and it feels bloody good to finally be powerful instead of always so damn helpless. But then something snaps back in his head, like a rubber band. A feeling, perhaps, or a memory.
Draco still looks at him. Up close, Harry notices how worn his clothes are. Even the green outdoor jacket has dark edges on the sleeves and is definitely two sizes too big for his slender frame.

Ordinarily, Holmes was not overly troubled by the smells of death and decay. They were a part of his work, an unpleasant part certainly, yet something which could be endured. The allure of a mystery was enough to make up for any discomfort.
He had, however, learned that this was not the case at certain times. Namely, it was not the case during his now-frequent migraines.

He’d been told he would have been an incredible actor or a phenomenal politician, if only it weren’t for-
“Very well. Please take a cab, Light, it’s been raining all day. It’s too slippery for you to venture out to the station by yourself, even with Winston next to you. Who knows what could happen” Yes, he would have been an amazing actor, politician or whatever else he would have put his mind to, if only it hadn’t been for the disability everyone loved to remind him of. His blindness.
Trying to ignore the unpleasant returning tension in his chest, Light tightened his grip on Winston’s harness. He was going to meet L again, after so many years…He didn’t know what he even hoped for.
For the detective to recognize him or treat him like a complete stranger. Whatever happened, he would just have to wait and see.
