“What a lovely party we're having!” Finrod mimicked. “Could you please explain, in gruesome detail, what it's like to get eaten by a werewolf?”
A laugh bubbled up from Aredhel's throat. “I see you've met the same people I have,” she said.
(Reborn in Valinor, Aredhel and Finrod are unlikely allies.)

Summary
After the Darkening of Valinor, Anairë is sent to Alqualondë to offer aid and allegiance after the horror of the kinslaying. There, she finds Eärwen, her lover of old and beloved friend, left to care for her people amid her own inconsolable grief. Anairë and Eärwen will care for each other as they mourn the myriad ways their lives have changed forever with the Darkening and the exile of Anairë's family. It may be the rekindling of their ancient love that is the only force with strength enough to save them--and their people.

Summary
Fourteen original philosophical dialogues set among the characters of Tolkien’s legendarium — from the first light of Arda to the darkness of the Void.
These are not adventure stories. They are conversations between characters who carry great burdens, who have made irreversible choices, who have known glory and ruin, wisdom and folly, grief and unexpected grace.
Gandalf speaks of weariness. Galadriel of restraint and the temptation to control what she loves. Aragorn of feeling inadequate to the crown he must wear. Saruman of the first small compromise that reshaped his entire path. Frodo wonders who he might become beyond his wounds. Elrond thinks about what it means to lead for thousands of years — and what he loses when the burden is finally lifted. Even Melkor, in his rebellion, reveals something uncomfortable but necessary about freedom, pride, and the fragile line between wanting to create and needing to control.
Each chapter concludes with reflection questions — gentle invitations to consider how its themes intersect with your own experience.
Tolkien’s world has always belonged, in some deep sense, to those who love it. This is one reader’s attempt to give something back.
