Remus is sent to investigate the werewolves starting in sixth year rather than seventh and Regulus ends up taking the dark-mark early after hearing something particularly interesting from Slughorn. With the changes and challenges these two events lead to, the pair ends up working together to discover the inner workings of Voldemort's plans and form an odd partnership in hopes to thwart it.
