Summary
Cazador is slain. A monster defeated in his own home. But Astarion, who ended the life of his slaver and tormentor, isn’t as gleeful as the rest of his companions. He sits in the Elfsong Tavern full of regret and mourning, unsure of how to proceed.
Gale notices that Astarion is not joining in the celebration with their comrades, and goes to check on his lover. Upon realizing that Astarion was struggling to cope with internal turmoil, Gale takes Astarion up to their nook in the Elfsong, with the hope of aiding the man he loves through whatever is burdening him.
