   Summary

   A problematic Bene Gesserit (who isn't a woman at all) was thrown away, given to Baron Vladiimir Harkonnen under the assumption that they would not survive for long.
   The Baron is many things, but he is not wasteful.
   He decided to employ them as his Aide instead of killing them outright, and watches them carefully for signs of disloyalty, keeping them close.

   Then there's Piter, the Baron's twisted mentat, who is head over heels for his new assistant.
