Flustered, you nip at your bottom lip. You know Zayne can see how red your cheeks are, but you can't do nothing, except to try to calm your heart down. He's across from you, a few meters away, glasses on and looking straight at your soul.
"What's wrong?" He asks.
His tone indicates he's really curious. But there's a hint of undeniable teasing.
"Nothing" you lie, not expecting him to believe you in the slightest.
He takes a few steps, to get right in front of you.
You gulp, suddenly aware of your surroundings, standing in the middle of the Hospital's hall.
He puts a finger over your lip, freeing it and caressing your cheek in the process.
"Why are you so nervous?"
"Someone can see us, Zayne. I don't want you to have problems-"
A pair of soft lips, that you know like the back of your hand, cut your rambling short.
The kiss doesn't last more than half a minute, but it leaves you breathless nonetheless.
When you open your eyes again, there's a playful smirk on his face, reaching his eyes quite well.
"Everyone here knows I love you" he confesses, ears reddening as he speaks "Now I'm just making sure all of them know you're mine"
A hand cupping your face and the other at the side of your neck, he kisses you again, making everything fade away, because there's no place you would ever be, but with him.
