Sakura asks no one, “Would Suo-san still like me if I never won again?”
The sky answers with a warm breeze slipping its long fingers through Sakura’s sweat-matted hair. Then the ground answers with the sound of little steps coming closer.
Then he answers with the clarity of a blue night sky, illuminated by full moonlight. “Why wouldn’t I, Sakura-kun?”
