“I saw a tiger on the ship yesterday,” Usopp declared dramatically over breakfast.
“A tiger?” Nami raised an eyebrow.
“Tiger!” Luffy shouted.
“Are you sure, Usopp-san?” Brook said.
“Yes!” Usopp nodded, wide-eyed. “A huge one! With fangs and stripes and everything on our ship!”
“You’re lying,” Franky said, sipping his coffee.
“I don’t believe you, “ Brook said.
“What?! I am not!” Usopp’s arms flailed. “I swear on my slingshot!”
“Bullshit,” Nami scoffed. “We’re in the middle of the sea, Usopp. Where the hell would a tiger even come from? And where can they come from?”
“But I really saw it!” Usopp cried, stomping his foot.
“Maybe you were dreaming,” Sanji muttered nonchalantly, lighting a cigarette, staring at Zoro who was peacefully eating his breakfast.

The witch and his tiger

Summary:
“I saw a tiger on the ship yesterday,” Usopp declared dramatically over breakfast.
“A tiger?” Nami raised an eyebrow.
“Tiger!” Luffy shouted.
“Are you sure, Usopp-san?” Brook said.
“Yes!” Usopp nodded, wide-eyed. “A huge one! With fangs and stripes and everything on our ship!”
“You’re lying,” Franky said, sipping his coffee.

“What?! I am not!” Usopp’s arms flailed. “I swear on my slingshot!”

“Shit!”He didn’t think.
A faint glow surged around his boots. He kicked off the deck, launching into the air.
As he flew upward, his hand glowed gold and flickered with runes. He snapped his fingers midair.
“Catch!”
A glowing magic net formed in front of Franky, shaped like a spiderweb of light, just before he could hit the deck below.
Franky bounced once, groaning, then looked up at the softly glowing lines under him.
“...That’s new,” he wheezed.
Sanji floated gently downward, boots glowing from magic sigils.
“Idiot cyborg,” he muttered. “Can’t even fall properly.”
“Sanji! You..how are you flying?!” Usopp shouted, jaw dropping.
Before Sanji could answer, another wave slammed into the ship, harder than the last. Chopper was thrown from the railing.
“CHOPPER!” Nami screamed.
Luffy reached out again, but couldn’t stretch fast enough.
Then, a sudden blur streaked across the lower deck.
From the shadows, a majestic green tiger appeared out of nowhere, its muscles rippling as it sprang upward.
With precision and power, the tiger caught Chopper and landed gracefully behind Sanji, who still hovered nearby.
“See, a green tiger!?” Usopp screamed, pointing.
“You didn’t lie!” Chopper gasped in awe.
“Of course I didn’t! But—wait, that’s not the point!” Usopp flailed again.
“Why is there a tiger?!?” Nami shrieked. “And why is the tiger acting all cuddly around you, Sanji?!”
“Sanji, are you a witch?” Luffy asked, eyes wide with curiosity.
“Don’t be silly, there’s no way Sanji-kun is a witch. Right...?” Nami glanced at Sanji, uncertain.
“Didn’t Sanji bro just magically make a net out of thin air to catch me ?” Franky remind Nami.
“Plus, witches use magic, that’s what the magic story I read last week said.” Chopper added.
Sanji rubbed the back of his neck, awkwardly avoiding their eyes. “Uhhh…”

Sanji took a drag of his cigarette. “Look, I didn’t plan on telling you. It's not exactly normal conversation. ‘Hey, pass the salt, by the way I’m a witch and my husband is a tiger.’”“So... the tiger is yours?” Usopp asked cautiously.
“Wait… did you just say that the tiger is your HUSBAND?” Nami shouted.
“How can a tiger be your husband?” Jinbei asked curiously.
“Yes, and I can explain it to you guys, ” Sanji confirmed. Then he turned and shouted, “Moss! Get over here!”
The tiger padded back toward the group, tail swishing lazily behind it. It approached Sanji and immediately rubbed its massive head against his leg, purring.
“AHHHHH!!” Chopper, Usopp, and Nami screamed.

“Are you saying you’re immortal?!”“So you’ve lived for a hundred years already?!” Chopper gasped.
Sanji gave a tired smile. “Yup.”
Silence.
“…Wait, wait,” Nami blinked. “How old are you?”
Sanji shrugged. “Technically? A hundred and three. But I still look twenty-something, so let’s not ruin the vibe.”
Zoro blinked. “Hold on. I married an old man?”
