Summary
Naruto has everything he’s ever wanted: he’s an ANBU captain, on track to become Hokage, and is beloved by his village. Well, almost everything. Sasuke hasn’t set foot in Konoha or written in six years, with a single exception of asking Naruto to learn a specific seal with no explanation as to why. But when Sasuke is hit with a jutsu on an S ranked mission that leaves him unable to control his chakra, Naruto is the only one trusted and capable enough to watch him. Within their new close quarters, their relationship begins to unravel. But as each thread comes loose, Naruto is unable to let go. As the two struggle to relearn each other and themselves, Naruto realizes that some things will never change.
