--- Chapter 1 ---
Oh my god. Oh my god
He was so screwed. So, so screwed.
Micheal doesn't know what got into his head, but he knows it was nothing good… Jesus, he's such an idiot.
“How am I going to fix this? I can’t just let him go!!”
“Man I swear I won't tell a single soul y’know, you can let me go. I promise I won’t tell anyone about you… or this place… or anything really trust me! Please just let me go…” Said past Micheal, startling his older self.
“Shit- you scared me! Jesus Christ” Micheal said
Looking closer, Micheal could tell past him – you know what let’s call him Mike – was scared out of his mind, and it kind of made him fell bad about himself.
“I can’t just let you go kid. There’s already a search party going around looking for you – honestly I’m kind of surprised they haven’t found us yet – so there’s no way to just pretend this whole thing just hasn’t happened… sorry.”
Mike just stayed silent, looking more and more panicked with each passing second; Micheal decided he just didn’t have the patience to deal with it today; or anywhere in the near future whatsoever.
“Look, go to sleep Mike, we’ll deal with this tomorrow” as an afterthought, he added “I promise I won’t hurt you.”
After a few seconds of staring, Micheal decided to just lay down on the floor; he was just so exhausted he wasn’t sure he could stay on his feet otherwise.
He wasn’t sure how much time he had before they were found. Honestly he just went to the first place that he thought of, which was his secret hiding place from when he was younger and needed a place to be by himself. It was an old house that looked really run down, resembling the ones from horror movies; the house was made of wood, and was located a few meters inside a florist north of his school, right by the river. Overall a terrible place to hide, but he had nowhere else to go.
Now that the adrenaline in his newly revived body was running out of his sistem, Micheal could think clearly. God he wished he had died in that fire, he really really did. MIcheal was so tired, he just wanted to rest; to finally see Elizabeth and Eva-
Evan
How could he have forgotten about Evan? He was back, he could save him! He could finally atone for his biggest mistake, his biggest regret! Evan will be able to play and grow up and have children and have a happy and healthy life with a wife and kids and-
But how will Micheal be able to do that?
He could kill himself. Yes, yes that would work just fine. He’d kill his past self and immediately after he’d kill himself. Then he will finally be able to rest. That will work perfectly.
Micheal decided to put his plan in action in the next day, after a few hours of sleep. Then, he’d be finally able to see his siblings and just rest.
