Hades Morningstar had managed to sneak out, taking Razzle and Dazzle with him, the two small goat demons flew next to him as he walked down the streets of Hell. Despite his false bravado, he could feel his confidence dwindle as the sinners leered at him. Sensing the young royal's fear, Razzle and Dazzle drew closer to him. He whipped around as a white spider demon towered over him, asking in a concerned voice, “Hey kid. Where are your folks and why are you by yourself?” Razzle and Dazzle growled as the spider demon stepped back. “Relax; I am not going to hurt you. My name is Anthony Maranzano (Angel Dust), but my friends call me Angel.” “I am looking for Cannibal Town,” he hissed boldly, but Angel saw right through his bravado and said, “Sure kid, it's this way.”
When Angel went out that night for some quick cash, the last thing he expected to see was a kid walking down the streets of hell. He recognized the kid as the son of the King and Queen. Not wanting to be accused of kidnapping, Angel decided to walk away but changed his mind when he noticed the way the other sinners were leering at him. Tapping the boy on the shoulder, Angel asked, “Hey, kid. Where are your folks and why are you by yourself?” He backed away slightly as the goat demons growled at him. “Relax; I am not going to hurt you. My name is Anthony Maranzano (Angel Dust), but my friends call me Angel,” Angel said, introducing himself. “I am looking for Cannibal Town,” he hissed boldly, but Angel snorted softly, seeing right through Hades' bravado, and said, “Sure, kid, it's this way,” indicating for Hades to follow him. “What do you want in Cannibal Town?” Angel asked his curiosity piqued. “I am looking for my sister. I am going to see the Radio Demon,” Hades said in a determined voice. “Be careful, kid,” Angel warned his voice weary. “You can’t trust him.” “I know,” Hades simply said. “You can’t trust anyone.”
Rosie’s Emporium
Charlie and Vaggie were about to go upstairs so Vaggie could give Charlie her birthday present when there was a loud knock on the door. Rosie and Alastor came to join Charlie in the front as he answered the door. Everyone gasped in surprise as they saw a nine year old boy accompanied by two goat demons at the door. “Razzle? Dazzle?” Charlie asked, covering her mouth in shock. She never once thought that she would see them again. The goat demons bleated in joy as they flew right into Charlie almost knocking her over. Rosie sighed ushering the nine years old in. Hades turned to look at the goat demons that were now squishing Charlie in between them. “Are you Charlotte Morningstar?” Hades stuttered nervously, “Who wants to know?” Charlie asked pretending not to know who Hades is. “I am her brother, Hades Morningstar,” he responded looking even more nervous. “I accidentally found out this morning that I have a sister, I want to meet her.” Charlie snorted at this, “I am not surprised they didn’t mention me to you.” “Why are you here brother and how did you find out where I am?” Charlie questioned looking at her brother through narrow eyes. “I want to meet you,” Hades repeated with stubborn tone, “and I found you by luck. I was listing to The Radio Demon’s show this morning, I came here to ask him where you are, but I guess I got lucky.” Charlie nodded silently, “Hades,” Alastor said breaking the silence, “it’s too late to escort you home, so you may stay the night and you will return to Morningstar Mansion in the morning.” “I will get some blankets for you and you can sleep on the couch,” Vaggie said. Hades nodded giving a tired yawn following Vaggie to the lounge.
Hades was still asleep on the couch when everyone made their way down for breakfast. Charlie frowned as she went to wake her brother up; she knew that if she didn't speak to him, he might accidentally let it slip that he knew where she was. "Hades, wake up," Charlie said, shaking him gently. "I am awake," he groggily responded, rubbing the sleep from his eyes. "Breakfast is ready," Charlie said, laughing at him as he raced Razzle and Dazzle to the kitchen. "How are Lilith and Lucifer?" Charlie asked casually (Charlie no longer acknowledged them as her parents). Hades shrugged, not caring how his parents were doing. "Won't they notice you're gone?" Nyssa asked curiously, taking a sip of her coffee. Hades snorted at this. "The only time they acknowledge my existence is when they have to attend a press conference or family is coming over." "That sounds about right," Charlie said dryly, pouring herself more coffee. "Can I come and visit you again?" Hades asked, giving Charlie a hopeful look. "You may," Charlie responded, sensing an opportunity here; her brother was naïve, and she could use that to her advantage. "But you must swear not to tell anyone you know where I am." Hades nodded his head eagerly before shaking hands with Charlie.
