Nico stared. “Excuse me?”
“You heard me.”
“I am not staying in the infirmary for three days.”
Will tilted his head. “Your shoulder is infected, your hands are fading from shadow-travelling too much, you haven’t been eating properly, and your iron levels are so bad I’m genuinely offended on behalf of your bloodstream. So, yes. Three days.”
“You can’t keep me here.”
“I absolutely can.”
“That sounds illegal.”
“That sounds like something you can complain about when you can stand on your own.”

Apparently, fate and destiny have other ideas as upon starting his first year at Ever After High, Colton Winter suddenly finds himself having to be the one having to face down everyone else's villains. All because interacting with a certain girl that he can't bring himself to stay away from changes everything from what he knows about himself to how others see him and most importantly, where he falls in the destiny conflict.
As they say, fate is never written in stone and sometimes the ones with the greatest destinies are the ones who have the most chaotic times.

“Yeah, absolute wack job won’t let me get more than six inches away from him,” Leo confirmed, sounding more than a little pleased like he’d orchestrated the whole situation, which, to be fair, he had.
“Oh no, that must be soooooo hard on you,” Piper drawled. Leo flipped her off and Jason rewarded him by pressing little butterfly kisses all over his neck and jaw. “Hey, speaking of obnoxious public displays of affection, you’ll never guess what I saw in the bathroom.”
Reyna cocked her head, clearly interested. “What?”
“Drew and Nyssa were standing there making out where literally anyone could walk in on them,” Piper reported dutifully. “And I don’t mean, like, a peck, either. Drew’s makeup was smudged she was kissing so hard.”
