Of all our memories, I can't forget our time at the park
being with you made me as happy as a lark
I can't count all the jokes we cracked on the grass
you'd light a blunt, take a hit then pass
we were just two teens who didn't care about our lungs
didn't care that the ladder of life had so many rungs
our philosophy was that all that matters is the here and now
