Work Text:
Today, I awoke with a skull full of eyes
Suddenly, I could see through every guise
Now, my boss praises me for my insights
I expect a promotion soon, yes, I'll reach new heights
but most days, my head is full of views
and sadly, I have no brain to help me choose
My girlfriend calls me indecisive, my friends say I'm a fence-sitter
They can't see how I've changed and it makes me so bitter
So I got my head scanned, I showed them my eyeballs
Everybody freaked out, now nobody calls
But somebody told the press
Now I've got reporters on my doorstep and my privacy's a mess
Now the CIA keeps visiting me, I can't take the stress
They clearly want to experiment on me; you can't imagine my distress
I want to go back to the old me
But my life has clearly changed, as far as my eyes can see.
