Chapter Text
Sal peels his eyes open with a groan, immediately regrets it and quickly burrows his face back into it's warm resting place.
"There you are, thought you were gonna nap all afternoon."
"I wish." Sal mutters, yawning as he forces his eyes back open at Buck's voice. He looks up to finds Buck watching another candy-making video on his phone, is about to comment when something hits his back. Sal shifts to see the oversized rainbow rabbit Buck won for him at the fair they had taken Jee and Bo to that morning.
"Ugh, thought I dreamed us actually taking this thing home." Sal grunts, moving to turn over and put the rabbit where he had just been laying. His entire body aches in the worst way as he drops the oversized stuffie on top of his boyfriend.
Buck laughs and curls his arms around it. "Don't talk to Hector that way!"
Sal laughs, pushing off the bed to head to the bathroom.
"Hey."
He pauses in the doorway.
"You okay? You've been sleeping a lot lately… and that bruise on your back is still there." Buck frowns.
"I'm fine babe, just tired."
Sal doesn't hear himself hit the floor.
