“Makino-sannnnnnnn!” A bright cheery voice called out from a ship that is close by. All the heads turned towards the sound to find a pirate ship only a few miles away, the flag showing a skull with a straw hat on it. A green haired woman ran out of her bar with a baby in her chest and ran towards the dock.
“Luffy!!!” Makino called out as she started to wave at him. The captain of the Straw Hat pirate, Monkey D. Luffy was sitting at the head of Thousand Sunny and waved back at her, his grin going from ear to ear. Behind him were his most loyal and trustworthy friends he could ever ask for, smiling at his optimism.
“It’s been a long time! Have you been well?!” Luffy called out to her as Thousand Sunny was getting closer to the dock.
“I have! It’s so good to see you Luffy!” Makino cheerfully replied back to Luffy. Thousand Sunny has been docked as Luffy finally set foot to his homeland after 2 years being away. Luffy dragged out his crew mates for them to meet Makino.
“Guys this is Makino, she was my friend back when I was a child! She works at a bar over there and I would always hang out with her.” Luffy enthusiastically said to his nakama.
“Nice to meet you all. I hope Luffy wasn’t a bother to you at all.” Makino smiled warmly at them. Everyone shook their heads and in sync they all said, “No, not at all.”
“As much as I wanna chat with you all I need to get back to work.” Makino sadly said.
“I can help you.” Nami offered.
“No. That is quite alright. I’m pretty sure Luffy would want you to meet with Dadan and the others.” Makino laughed.
“Oh yeah! I haven’t seen Dadan in so long. I need to go to her right now. I will be going first.” Luffy said as he started to sprint towards the mountain at lightning speed.
“We’ll go with our captain just in case he gets into trouble.” Zoro said as he happily dragged Sanji with him. Sanji was stumbling and yelled at Zoro for not warning him.
“What a fun crew Luffy has.” Makino softly laughed.
“Indeed. When I first joined it was full of chaos.” Jimbe said as he stood next to her.
“You must be Jimbe everyone was talking about.” Makino looked up to meet his gaze. Jimbe laughed and smiled. “Indeed I am.”
“But I don’t think you can stay here for that long.” Makino said with a tone of sorrow.
“And why is that?” Jimbe asked her as he raised an eyebrow.
“Currently there are marines in Goa Kingdom. I don’t know if there is something going on over there but I am warning you to be careful. Especially Luffy.” Makino looked back at where Luffy left off and she was gritting her teeth.
“It would be really bad if there was a fight happening.” Makino’s lip was as thin as a line.
“I promise you. Luffy and the others would keep this village safe and sound.” Jimbe promised with a hesitant look out into the distance. “But I want to ask you. Is there someone other than the marines here?” Jimbe looked at her.
