Something slithers from the rafters in front of Yuuto, past the sliding door, and a slip of orange hair, fur, crumples onto the floorboards. Yuuto sucks in a breath, takes a step back. The figure unfurls, orange melting into red and white folds, and murmurs, “No one’s here.”
Yuuto visits the shrine, looking for Captain, and runs into something else.
