CHAPTER 1
FELICITY
Felicity got up and packed her things hearing the school bell. The school, was finally over, and she could go back home.
“Lissy!” She saw her best friend running towards her. “How have you been?”
“Like always, exhausted and depressed,” Felicity said sarcastically and threw him a granola bar while opening hers. “So, are we going to the park today?”
“Sure, why not,” He smiled brightly nearly blinding her with the light shining around him.
Ravi really looked divine despite him having average, color palette. He had brown hair and green eyes with a hint of brown to them. They were going down the school hallway talking about some shit. Suddenly, she felt something pulling me from behind. Lissy turned around and saw Rosaline, Ravi’s girlfriend and one of the people in our friend group.
“Rose! How many times do I have to repeat it, don’t hang me!” She scolded her not meaning to frustrate her.
“Awww, come on- I know you like it,” Rose smiled and hugged her tightly. “You are going to the place, right?”
“Yes, we are. Do you want to come?” Ravi asked.
“Of course!”
Rose stopped hugging Felicity and started walking towards the exit with them. Lissy furrowed my eyebrow because Rose wasn’t acting like her usual self. But she brushed it off seeing Ravi and her together acting like always.
“Where is Nathan?” She suddenly remembered about their other friend that was supposed to go with them. “Was he in school today?”
She saw a glint of nervousness in Ravi’s eyes that quickly disappeared when he smiled again.
“I didn’t see him today, maybe he feels sick and his parents took his phone away again.”
Lissy always knew that Nathan’s parents were overprotective but not to that extent. She sighed and took her phone dialing his number only to be stopped by Ravi taking her my phone away.
“Hey! Give it back,” She took the smartphone away from him.
“Just let him be. If he doesn’t want to go, then he won’t,” He said.
Felicity sighed and listened to him, then she looked at Rose, who looked stressed from the situation.
“I-I think I have something urgent to take care of at my place,” Her face was pale like she saw a ghost and her voice was trembelling as well.
“Is everything oka-”
“Yes! I’m just a little tired,” She interrupted
“Okay... Then good night,” Lissy said concerned about her.
Ravi made a face she never saw before which made her shiver a little. After a while Rose went back to her place and she was left alone with Ravi standing before the building.
“I think I might go back home too. It’s getting dark. And I don’t want to go to the park anymore,” She said tired.
“That’s okay!” Ravi said still smiling creepily.
“Mhm… I will part now. See you tomorrow.”
She turned around and started heading back to her house. She had this bad feeling around her like someone is watching her. But it must be just a feeling... Right...?
