The Jon figured it was just unfortunate luck that, of all the fuel sources he could've ended up with, Walter I had decided to have him run on Crystal Pepsi, which had since been discontinued.
Sure, the Walters continued to time-travel for his sake, but he was still often left underfueled compared to his siblings, and a constant fatigue followed him everywhere.
He couldn't help but envy his siblings sometimes, since they didn't have this burden to worry over, and it certainly didn't help that there wasn't anything he could do about it.
Besides, he didn't even like Crystal Pepsi...
