   Summary

   “Once, a long time ago, there was a couple that fell in love. It was the sweetest love that anyone could hope for, Kyojuro. Their love was so strong that even the gods took notice of it. The gods were enamoured with watching them. The couple was so loved by the gods that the gods even made it a point to attend their wedding. Time passed, and one of them fell ill. The other half of the pair pleaded to the gods to save their life, insisting that they could not bear to live without their spouse on their side. The gods have always insisted on following the cycle of life, death, and rebirth, and so they denied the human’s request.”
