Summary
Every other job would just be the same except with a smaller salary. He never really planned his career out in high school or college, let alone did he even try to get a degree in something he could call “passionate” about. He never picked up hobbies, sure, there were things like video games he’d play with Matt and graphic designing, but it wasn’t something he’d have in his frontal lobe 24/7. They were just there, like accessories, or like when you're doing an ice breaker at school and the teacher asks you to tell 3 interesting things about yourself. They were just sitting in a glass case with a broken, dimmed spotlight that no one bothered to try to touch.

Smitty works at a boring office job with John, a 2-year-long co-worker who can't seem to ever operate a computer correctly. Their questions about their relationship are changed one night when Smitty invites John over for a couple of drinks.
