Revolutionary Idea

Summary:

[RUSSIA]
With the new, er, watcher being dispatched, it's only right if I talk about these sorts of things, considering the nature of this... (harrumph) watcher. The ever-eternal Personification of All of Russia will now talk about how revolution works in the view of Neoincarnations, and how if affects its Representations.

(Or, Russia talks about the personified Voice of the People.)

[RUSSIA]
With the new, er, watcher being dispatched, it's only right if I talk about these sorts of things, considering the nature of this... (harrumph) watcher. The ever-eternal Personification of All of Russia will now talk about how revolution works in the view of Neoincarnations, and how if affects its Representations.

I won't discuss more about who this watcher is, but one thing for sure is that it's not necessarily alive. Well, no, it is, but it's not like how it was before. But it is dead? Ah, it's not easy to explain. For sure, it's an inactive Personification.

Many revolutions have happened in the history of mankind. I'm not here to give you a history lesson, though—that's not my sort of thing. Go ask Moscow, she's the history teacher after all. Ah. Yes, yes, I do know that I'm also a history teacher, Luise, but it was for primary. I don't think that's high-level enough. Yeah, definitely, revolutions are talked about, but not those outside of Europe, you know? Yeah.

Okay, so, what happens to the Personification whenever a revolution happens is absolutely dependent on what type of a revolution it is. If it's something like the industrial revolution, it doesn't necessarily do anything to the Personification, Malcolm didn't really had to lose anything. Not counting two fingers.

Though, when it comes to a socio-political revolution, now that's where everything changes. Though the specific one I'll be talking about would be the likes of asking for reforms type of revolution, like how the French went through those more than just a few times.

One thing to note, is that often times, unless those sorts of revolution have a direct impact to the government—such as the abolition of monarchy—the Personification wouldn't necessarily undergo any sort of change, at all. Often times, the only thing which would change is more on how their mind would think about these sorts of things.

Well then, what if it does bring an actual change to the government? I'll take an excerpt out of a book the Soviet Union wrote.

A country's Personification is supposed to represent every separate idea that lives within their land. That is the reason why often times their words are either contradictory or supporting the government's cause. The special thing comes when a specific idea is personified, a revolutionary idea. The difference between this and the typical country Personification is that they are bound to the government they serve. Once they meet eyes with whoever would rule them, whether it be in the near or far future, they are forever fated to align their ways of thinking with their government.

The ignorance of a Personification will be the death of them, one would say. Whenever their child were born as a revolutionary idea, they keep saying that it was an 'unexpected development' when they stabbed their backs. Do they not see how the revolutionary interacts with the Voice of the People? Of course they don't, for Personifications are fated to be blind to the future laid out right in front of them. And yes, the majority, if not all personified popular revolutionary ideas, are related to the Personification of the country they lie within.

And so, yes, the change of a Personification is almost likely guaranteed. The big question is this, how long would the personified revolutionary idea stay as the Country Personification?

Now this, this is also another reason as to why I'm even talking about this in the first place. Usually, when it comes to these things, anyone can tie these into one sort of explanation, like how the deceased Soviet Union did. I'm not sure if it's obvious—I'm sure it is—but this whole archive's thing is to talk about the... unexplainable. Well, they are, but they aren't, you know?

Shut up, Luise, personally, I find my explanation as very much understandable. If you don't, then it's your own fault for not parsing through my words, not mine. Yes, yes, I know, I'm always right. When it comes to these measures, obviously. Not the other... parts.

The longevity of the Personification depends on one single thing—whether or not their predecessors are kept alive or not.

In the lens of Personifications, what happens to the Country Personification during a popular revolution lies between two things. Either, a. They are spared by the revolutionary; or b. They are slaughtered by the revolutionary. This is what decides the revolutionary's lifespan.

We have two examples, here. The first is the Representations of Spain, and the second is the Representations of France.

When it came to the revolution in Spain, the revolutionary—Spain's son—had spared his mother in its onslaught. How did it end up for him? He died in the hands of his mother in the Spanish Civil War. But then, is he both the first and second republic? Yes, yes he is. How is that the case? Because, by all means, the government system of those republics did not change. And so, the Personification was kept to be the same. There will be more kin-slaughter than just this.

And so, we come to the shit show that is France. The revolutionary had killed her father, the Kingdom of France, but spared her brother. She ended up becoming all the French Repubics and both of the French Empires. What about the restorations of the monarchy which came after, then? That title goes to her brother. Despite it being restored, it would not be the same ever since. In the end, the French Republic killed her brother in the late 1940s to secure her position as the only Country Personification of France.

Well then, Russia, where's the oddity? Wait up. Here's where all the supernatural parts will be talked about.

One might take a look at Germany. She is the same person as the German Empire. What does that mean? The revolutionary—referred to as Weimar Republic and Nazi Germany now—did not kill her. Though, here's one thing; unless the revolutionary doesn't kill their predecessor, usually, they would only live one government form, and then they die.

But then how did Weimar Republic survive as the Personification of Germany under the Nazi regime?

Because he did kill his mother. Simple fact, really. Because he killed her, he got one single extension, he is allowed to live for one more government change. And that was seen as to how he went from a democratic republic to a dictatorship. Why only one chance? Because the German Empire died to the hands of her own son only once.

Why is he not modern-day Germany, then? Well, because Germany got resurrected. That's that. And because the regime had changed, the title of Personification returned to his mother. If German Empire had stayed dead, then the whole "one chance" I mentioned before would be rendered null, and he'd still be the Personification of Germany 'till this day.

Resurrection has been talked about before, so I wouldn't go into it even further.

Want another example of this... "parent got resurrected and you get an extra chance" situation? I can give you the example going on with... no, no, Luise, I won't be using the Russian Revolution as an example. Whatever happened inside that ballroom will stay a mystery. I'll be using the Personifications of Greece instead.

Something to note, everything with some sort of connection with the Roman Empire has a specific relationship with Death in where they are allowed one single cycle of resurrection. That is how Greece survived after The Revolution with her being overthrown by her republican son, the second republic. That was also why second republic didn't immediately die after the restoration of the monarchy, as he ended up becoming the Greek resistance to the Axis powers before dying in the fronts of the Great Patriotic War. Well, the Greek front.

Hopefully you understand from just these examples. If you don't, then what's wrong with you? Hey, Luise, don't complain about that. I am an asshole and nothing is changing that. Not even—not even, yes, not even he would change that. At best he'll just appease me. Who knows for how long.

That's that. Oh, have I talked about foreshadowing yet? Do I even need to? Hm, honestly, I don't think so. That can be relied upon with what the Soviet Union already said in her report. Or was it Norway? Yes, I'm asking you, Luise. I know that I know, but do you know? Of course you don't. You were literally there when the Soviet Union wrote it.

So, yes, dear listener, you can reference foreshadowing on whatever the Soviet Union wrote. I don't think I need to cover it. Honestly, so many unexplainable things happen to us, and I'm here to explain to you what it is.

Yes, Luise, that still makes it unexplainable, because the average Joe wouldn't be able to explain it. The caveat is, am I average? No? No. Exactly. I'm far from being average. An average Personification, even. What? You disagree? Tell me then, Luise, how many people have been in such close contact with Death— uh-uh, I'm not finished. How many people have been in such close contact with Death without being its vessel or one of its kind?

Exactly. No one.

I guess that's it. I don't think there's anything else I can expand from this. Yes, I know I don't need to, because I told the listener all it needs to know. Do they need to know more? I don't think so. Do they know everything I already know? That's that, they don't. You can't expect me to tell them everything, right? Yes, good choice.

I hope that you all would be there in the next recording. Actually, I also hope that I wouldn't prematurely die before the next recording. That wouldn't be nice. Despite that, know that it will still continue. What do you mean "how"? You were there every time that event happened. Don't give me that look. Yes, of course I know when I'll die. It's pretty simple, actually—
