   Summary

   In the first year after the revolution, people celebrated. Red banners hung on every building, and claret flowed freely down the streets. In the third year after the revolution, a boy was born, brought about by hopes and dreams of a brighter, better future. Three years after that, war started against a rising fascist empire. The boy’s parents went to war against them, and the threats that followed. More years pass. The boy works to do his part for his motherland.
   Sure would be a shame if someone pushed him down a different path.
