Hello !!!
I'm Wren or Stark and this is going to be my first Whumptober !!!
I decided to do the MCU because I absolutely love this fandom and I recently made an OC that I do platonically and romantically ship with Helmut Zemo !!!
His name is Varian and his information will be below, including Name, Nickname, Age, Gender, Sexuality, Personality, Appearance (+ Photo), Skills and Backstory.

⇨⠀ ⠀ﾉ Varian is charismatic, he tells stories, draws laughter and seduces trust, he isn’t driven by grief or revenge, he’s driven by a vision: a world where power is decentralized, where manipulator is used for structural shift. Varian values people, but only in context where they are great, he sees individuals as tools, threats, or opportunities — but occasionally, he becomes attached to those he’s not supposed to. When he does, it’s genuine… and dangerous. Varian can and will destroy anyone who threatens what he values, no matter how cold he tends to be. Varian is the kind of person people instinctively trust, simply because he’s dressed openly. He’s especially good with people in power. Varian hides in plain sight, he dominates social spaces through charm rather than control.
⇨⠀ ⠀ﾉ Varian's appearance is built to disarm and command simultaneously. Varian's posture is impeccable, his shoulders and always squared, spine straight, he’s precise with his movements. Varian's hair is mostly slicked back or slightly tousled with soft waves. He has a soft Sokovian accent as well. Varian usually wears a dark, high-collared, double-breasted overcoat. He wears an underlayer with tailored linen and his color pallet is usually a neutral beige.
⇨⠀ ⠀ﾉ Varian has many skills, such has tactical planning, he maps out entire political or operational landscapes like a battlefield before going into anything. Varian is gifted in predicting human behavior, political shifts and power plays, he’s always several moves ahead and doesn’t act unless the outcome is already leaning in his favor. Varian is a master manipulator, he doesn’t like, not often at least, he just lets others believe what they *want* to believe. Varian is fluent in multiple languages, Sokovian, Russian, German and English. Varian always has leverage, he maintains a quiet influence over various international contacts — blackmail, favors, blood-debts, even rescued lives. Although Varian isn’t a huge fan of violence, he thinks it's sometimes necessary, he’s trained in fencing, firearms and close quarters combat, his style emphasizes precision, hitting weak spots and disabling people swiftly. He avoids combat whenever possible but when forced to fight there is no wasted energy. He usually uses a stiletto blade and a compact pistol. He can use improvised tools as well. Varian specialises in uncovering secrets and monitoring targets, he may not be a field agent but he has had prior experience due to his family. Varian acts like he doesn’t know a lot about tech, he may not be a hacker but he has people who can. His personal network consists of rogue programmers and journalists he’s helped (or owns, who knows.) Varian has a deep understanding of human motivation, he knows how to read body language and uses soft sciences — philosophy, psychology, history, as weapons. He can often find peoples blind spots before they even realise they have them.
⇨⠀ ⠀ﾉ The Zoric family stood alongside old Sokovian nobility, much like the lineage of the Barons. Though not as militarily renowned, the Zorics had held influence in political and intelligence circles. Varian was raised in a world of quiet power, where appearances mattered as much as strategy, his education focused heavily on philosophy, political science and history, preparing him to act as both a diplomat and manipulator in equal measure. In his early adulthood, he was recruited into Sokovian Intelligence, where he met Helmut Zemo. Though their methods differed, their shared patriotism and belief in Sokovia's fragile stability forged a close bond between the two. Varian became one of the few trusted confidants welcomed into Zemo’s home, he knew his wife and son. When Sokovia fell to ruin he witnessed Zemo’s grief firsthand, but unlike his friend he wasn’t consumed by it. Varian redirected his focus towards destabilising global structures of power. Varian survived the Snap, during the chaos he expanded his network, embedding himself into fractured governments, black markets, and displaced communities. To some, he became a benefactor; to others, a manipulator.
