Chapter Text

"Welcome to Timeloop Pastries, what would you like?" Tommy says with his customer service smile. "Uhh..." The pink-haired man fumbles. "I'll have a strawberry muffin, and a plain bagel." The pink-haired man requests. Tommy puts the two pastries in a bag. "Your total is 5.49!" Tommy smiles. The man puts down a twenty, and leaves the bakery with his bag of pastries. Tommy took a sip of his hot chocolate. Time to close up.

Tommy started to walk to his apartment that he shared with his best friends, Purpled and Ranboo. The three of them and their friend, Tubbo, before he moved to another city, had been "liberated" from a government controlled lab when they were little. He doesn't remember much from the whole thing. They found out through the news, that the lab had been genetically modifying people, and turning them into hybrids of either animals, or obscure creatures, like endermen or aliens. Tommy was a cow hybrid, which was alright. Besides, he loves cows! Cows are one of his favorite animals! A loud thud disrupted his train of thought. Tommy curiously looked inside the alleyway the loud thud came from. There he saw the villain, Blade, sitting against a wall with his arm covering his abdomen. His "cow senses" as he liked to call them, sensed that Blade was injured. Badly. Tommy looked around. There was no one on the streets, but the villain, Philza, was perched up on one of the alleyway rooftops, looking at him. Fuck. This was about to get awkward. He had stopped being a registered hybrid when he started to live with his friends. Gods damn it. Tommy rushed over to Blade, and puts his hands above the villain's arm that covers up the abdomen. A soft orange glow emitted from the palms of his hands as he felt Blade's wound heal. Blade huffs when Tommy pulls his hands away from the villain, the wound healed. Decently enough, at least. "Do you need somethin' kid? No one heals without a price." Blade grumbles. "Don't worry 'bout Big Man! Your price is the headache I got from healing you." Tommy jokes. Blade just stares at him. "I'll rephrase the question. What do you want? A trip to Disney? A favor? Money? What is it?” The villain before him questions. “Uhh.. Not blowing up this part of town would be nice.” Tommy stumbles. “A favor it is.” Blade swiftly gets up. “Thanks kid.” The man says as he struts out the way. Tommy glaces to Philza- or rather, where he had been perched. The winged villain’s gas mask had always scared him.. “Wait up!” Tommy calls out as he runs where Blade had gone to. Only to find an empty sidewalk.

Tommy sighed with exhaustion as he finally got home to the apartment he shared with his two friends. Purpled was asleep on the couch. He fell asleep to a Godzilla movie. Tommy had the urge to cuddle up to his sleeping best friend. He goes over to his and Purpled’s shared bedroom and flops on the bed. The three- four of them at the time, because Tubbo hadn’t moved away yet, could only afford a two bedroom apartment when they were looking for apartments. So he shared a room with Purpled, and Ranboo and Tubbo shared a room. Tommy could barely see a menacing gas mask through the window with his overcoming drowsiness. It was probably some random kid trying to scare people… With a yawn, he shrugged off the feeling of being watched, and fell asleep.

Tommy groggily woke up, reaching to rub the sleep from his eyes, only to find himself tied to a chair. Of course.. Just his luck. He could hear two people quietly talking. “I still don’t fully agree to this plan. We could've just kidnapped him earlier.” A voice gruffs. “We have him now, and that’s what our plan was. Gambit has been patrolling that part of the city recently.” A second voice says. “That part of the city is neutral territory, Phil.” The first voice grumbles. Was he in a different part of the city? Where have his captors brought him to? Have they brought him to their secret base? He can’t afford a bus ticket to anywhere that’s outside his part of the city, let alone back home! What were his captors going to do to him? One of his captors sprinted in front of him. “Shh, Shh, you’re okay kid, you’re okay, we’re not going to hurt you.” He couldn’t control his heavy breathing. The captor in front of him was a piglin hybrid with rectangle glasses, long pink hair in a braid, and one of those ruffled shirts he always imagined a prince would wear in a fairytale. “Wh-Where.. Where am I…” Tommy shakily asks. “I’m Techno and that’s Phil. You’re at the villain safe house. We’re not going to hurt you. We’re only concerned for your well being. When was the last time you’ve gotten a good sleep? Or hydrated? It’s very important to drink water.” Techno gently asks. This was the weirdest kidnapping ever… “Since when did kidnappers care about well-being? Your lucky you’re weirdly comforting.” Tommy rudely questions with a yawn. “So not recently, got it.” Techno cuts off the rope that binds him to the chair, and picks him up. He falls back asleep.

Chapter Text

Tommy woke up in a bed he could never afford, and a room that looked straight out of a fancy hotel. But smaller. He wrapped the blanket around his head and body like a shawl, before cautiously stepping out of the bedroom. A blonde man with dark grey crow wings, who he assumed to be Phil, looks over to him with a smile as he makes breakfast. “Good morning! I’m making breakfast for you and Techno before I go out!” The blonde beams. Ew. Gross. Techno was sitting on the couch, reading a book. Tommy goes over to Techno, and sits on the opposite side of the couch as him. Phil swiftly came over to the couch with two plates full of breakfast. “See you two after work!” Techno only huffs as the blonde leaves. The piglin hybrid puts his book down, and starts to eat his food. “Do you guys have frozen?” Tommy asks.

In the middle of them belting “Let It Go”, the doorbell rings. “There shouldn’t be..” Techno mutters as he pauses the movie, and opens the door. Tommy couldn’t see who was at the door from where he was on the couch. “I’ll ask you this once, Techno. Have you and Phil kidnapped someone recently?” Quackity sternly asks Techno. Quackity? Is Quackity here to save him? “Nah, we haven’t.” Tommy sees Techno nod as he replies to Quackity. Hmm... “I’ll be in the car.” He heard Ranboo say. Ranboo’s here too!! How awesome!! Ranboo suddenly teleports in front of Tommy. “What are you doing here?” Tommy whispers. “Rescuing you, now come on!” Ranboo whisper yells before grabbing onto Tommy’s hand, and teleporting the two of them inside Quackity’s car. “I was watching frozen!” Tommy protests. “Frozen is one of your weaknesses, Tommy.” Ranboo says. “Wh-“ Tommy thinking was interrupted by Quackity and Purpled going inside the car, especially by Purpled sitting on the other side of him. There was no one in the passengers seat next to Quackity. “How are you feeling, Tommy? Are you feeling better then you did yesterday?” Quackity asks him, as he starts the car. “Why did you guys ‘rescue’ me?” Tommy asks. “I was perfectly fine!” Ranboo, Purpled, and Quackity all looked at each other. “What? What is it that you guys aren’t telling me?” He exclaims. “Tommy. Listen to me when I say this.” Quackity spoke in a cautiously soft tone. Oh no. Quackity only uses that tone telling us that something serious happened. “Techno is the villain Blade, and Phil is the villain Philza.” “How is that any different from you and Karl protecting us three?” Tommy scoffs, slouching against Purpled. He sees Quackity’s smile drop in the rear-view mirror. “Because you three would get arrested for not having your permits if it weren’t for me and Karl.” Quackity scolds, as he drives the trio to their shared apartment. “And homeless…” Purpled mutters. Quackity and Purpled were both right.. Ranboo wouldn’t of gotten his scientist internship without the two of them, Purpled wouldn’t have his job as a waiter at Quackity’s restaurant, and Tommy wouldn't of gotten his job at the bakery..

Once the three of them got inside their apartment, Quackity sighs."Just.. be careful you three. Philza and Blade could be looking for you three if you leave the apartment." He tells them before leaving. Ranboo was smiling. "I'm glad you're back home Tommy!" They beam. "I'm glad too. I would've beat them up." Purpled grumbles. Tommy laughs.

That night, Tommy swings his feet as he sits on the rooftop of the apartment building. He missed going on patrol. He drank the last of his Coca-Cola, and put the empty can in his backpack. Tommy puts his backpack on, and started his usual patrol. He flipped off Ranboo, who was also in their vigilante outfit, and was doing their patrol across the street. They flipped him off with a big smile in return. The two of them would make such poggers siblings. “Hey you!” The villain, Gambit, yells as he runs over to Tommy, almost falling as he does so. “What’s up, Big G?” Tommy greets with a smile. Not that Gambit could see it anyway. “Aren’t you supposed to be on house arrest? I got an anonymous tip that you’re supposed to be on house arrest.” Gambit asks him, his arms crossed. He rolls his eyes. Gambit was Quackity’s villain identity. “You’re not my dad!” He protests. “I could be if we adopted you and Ranboo.” Gambit suggests softly. There was no need to ask who else was going to adopt him and Ran. “What about Purpled? You can’t get one package deal without the other.” Tommy asks, half bantering. “He’ll be fine. And besides, I know Purpled has a big crush on you.” Gambit teases. Tommy covers his ears. “La la la, all I heard was that you and Karl wanna adopt me ‘n Ranboo.” He says stubbornly. Gambit laughs. They both laugh. Purpled, or rather the vigilante, Hover, goes over to the two of them. “What’s up, Hoverman!” Tommy greets. Purpled looks directly at him. He couldn’t tell if it was just the lighting from the streetlights, but it almost looked like Purpled was blushing. “I want to show you something in the stars.” Purpled tells him. “Bye Gambit! It was nice seeing you!” Tommy says. “It was nice seeing you two as well.” Gambit says with a smile before continuing his patrol.

Tommy and Purpled arrive at Quackity’s restaurant, Las Nevadas. Once they enter the elevator to the other floors of the restaurant, Purpled presses the button to the top floor. Hmm.. When they reach the top floor, it’s empty save for a single table for two. Tommy face turns into confused to surprised once he faces Purpled.

Who is holding out a poppy, and asks him, “Will you go out with me?”

Tommy blushes.
