Mira has chronic pain that gets worse during plane rides

Mira winced as the cabin pressure in the plane made every inch of her body ache and burn.
She could ignore her chronic pain well enough in her day-to-day life, but flights were a whole different beast.
Rumi knew better than to touch her in these moments, instead just allowing Mira to tightly grip onto her hand as she endured the pain.
It was Rumi's support on these flights that kept her from throwing herself out of the emergency exit.
