Summary
A series of stories that feature Athena, trying to become a better person, especially with her children. It started because I personally don't like how the fandom treats her. I'm fine with her being a more antagonistic force, but I think there's a difference between her being a stern, harsh, and absent mother and being an abusive villain. I think it does a disservice to all the characters if you cut off the complex branches that are there. This isn't about absolving Athena of the stuff she did, it's about her trying to redeem herself and be a better person.

Summary
Tonight, Annabeth is flying out of Camp Half-Blood borders with no particular destination in mind, just wanting to clear her mind.
The freedom of being so high up and away from everything else is exhilarating. There are no responsibilities, expectations, nor nightmares in the sky.
She feels beyond free.
Annabeth wonders if that is even possible, to feel freer than free.
She glides, embracing the rush of cutting through the night sky and the wind that pushes against her. The serenity of it all distracts her, dulling her usually sharp instinct in senses—the ones she had honed to the deadliest, farthest extent she could in Tartarus. It takes her a long moment for her to realise she is not flying alone anymore.
