Work Text:
Rumi tried to focus on the supportive hands on her shoulders and the gentle voices trying to talk her down, but it was hard.
Her anxiety had always been a struggle but, since she'd stopped hiding her patterns, she'd struggled to hide this condition as well.
No more hiding.
The girls were very understanding and patient with her and had done plenty of research on how to help someone with an anxiety disorder.
It took time, but her attack ended and she slumped against the other women.
"We're always here for you, Rumi" Zoey said gently.
"Yeah" Mira echoed the sentiment. At long last, Rumi began to relax.
Her anxiety would never truly leave her, but that was okay.
She didn't have to struggle alone anymore.
