Summary
It was his idea to move to Sapporo together.
After everything happened, Tohru had been lost. She managed to graduate— somehow— then watched her friends slowly disappear.
Momiji still had to graduate, though, and Tohru kept her job in his father’s building, so naturally they spent more time together than ever.
But Tohru was falling apart. It was hard not to dwell on everything she’d lost; especially not when she still lived in that house.
Maybe he sensed how lonely she was. Or maybe he was lonely, too. Whatever the reason, she was glad for the company.
One night, on the way back to the house, she confided that she was thinking of moving away.
After everything, staying was just too hard.
He smiled. Not his usual, bright smile, but one that meant I understand and I’m sorry it hurts so much.
Then he said he’d been thinking the same thing, and asked if she wanted to move somewhere with him.

Tohru runs away to escape her ghosts. Momiji comes with her and confesses his feelings, leading to a situationship neither of them can admit isn't working. Then, a surprise encounter makes her question the path she's on.
