Summary
High jacking a minivan in the middle of Höllvania was not something Drifter could even anticipate. The plan felt rushed and all-too-reliant on their luck, but once they made it out, it was only a matter of how far they can get.
Hours later, the team's mechanic, Aoi, yelled unintelligibly from the back seats, fighting for her life to reach the front of the car only to point toward two buildings that were slowly emerging from the forest they were currently traversing.
"We are not gonna stay here, Aoi…"
"We had this conversation before, Arthur. Even back in Höllvania. We're gonna fuck up big time if we work non-stop."
The arguments kept going back and forth, Arthur dodging every bullet of an argument that was thrown at him. It felt like an intense battle with everyone huffing and clicking their tongues with every dismissal. Until Drifter decided to change the tides in favor of those who needed rest.
