He stood out to Flux because he looked gentle.
A perpetually serene look that clashed heavily with his Luminaran armor and diamond sword. Matched with snowy white hair, pale skin, and warm grey eyes. He looked more like an angel than a soldier.
Flux sometimes felt his eyes wander to that guard on their breaks. Watching him explore their nest of tunnels, watching him kindly unwrap lunch packs for older miners like he was Mother-fucking Teresa.
“You’re staring.” Thomas points out to Flux.

Holy perfection. This was so good. I wish I had words to explain it but I cant cuz im literally sobbing as I type this. How do i move on
