Chapter Text

Zuko had always had one thing he could do as an Omega. Something that would always be a strong action to get across his feelings without talking.

 When Zuko was only 11 years old he was presented as Omega. Zuko had been such a disappointment to his Father. He wished he had presented as an alpha Agni, even a beta would have been much better than an Omega. 

But in his opinion, luckily, he was from the royal family and had the blood of Agni running through his veins, which means he had a deeper touch with his fertility. 

Which Zuko and finding out men that he has her producing milk for any unpresented pups. Or newly presented Alpha and Omega.

In Zuko's opinion, it started when Ozai had removed him from being the Crown Prince and made him the Royal Spare Heir. He had also, in secret, become Azula's personal nursemaid until she had presented herself most likely as an alpha.

Zuko could not lie to himself, though he had felt like in the 2 years up until his banishment that had really been something that had strengthened him and Azula's already fractured relationship.

The feedings have been something that I started off as awkward and uncomfortable. Then they had become a common experience to happen and relaxing for both of them to have conversations. Like actual siblings without any competition between them to meet for Father's favor.

Zuko still remembered an incredibly special night before he was officially banished from the capital. Azula had presented as an alpha a couple of months back and started skipping out on the nursing meetups. Zuko had had to deal with Azula being rude and Savage towards him.

 Zuko had truly believed that the relationship that he thought they were working on so hard had completely crumpled right back into the embers of competition for praise and love. 

But that faithful night before he officially had to leave, when Azula snuck into his cot and lay her head down on his chest and softly asked for a nursing. Zuko had known that the relationship had truly changed and that Azula had truly cared for him in her own weird violent little way. 

Zuko had put his bowl down and shook his head to get his mind back on track. He was thinking of ways to show Toph he was sorry for his actions. Zuko knows well that he's not good enough with his word to show how incredibly sorry he is. 

Chapter Text

Zuko had started getting himself set up. A good apology for the young alpha pup that is Toph. Zuko had been thinking deeply as he had walked, trying to find her, trying his best to remember his old Omega tutoring class.

Zuko remembered his old teacher Lady Ijiwaru. She was an older woman who had been known for teaching the future high-status Omega. Zuko remembered going for lessons; it was about pups, especially alpha ones.

Zuko remembers this one the most cuz he almost got into an argument with her about it. She had said with her high pitched nasally voice
“ Young Alpha pups require many things from their Omega caretakers whether you are their siblings or Baba.”

“ It's your job to teach the arts of weapons. What type of Omega would you be Prince Zuko if you did not teach that your future alpha pup had a fight. Oh Angi above boy please do remember that if they cannot win a scuffle it is looked back on by Omega! ”

Zuko always kept that small lesson in the back of his mind. That was probably why he had begged Ozai to let him teach Azula The art of a bow and arrow. Zuko had remembered how happy Azula was when Ozai eventually said yes.

Zuko still remembers the sound of his baby sister purring. As he taught her the correct way to tighten up her bow. Zuko had Azula show off the weapon skills he had taught her at his opening gala. Zuko remembers the collapse of the people who had given Azula meant there were therefore for him.

Zuko had paused; he had been this close to taking Toph away for a conversation. Zuko What weapons he would probably choose to Toph she is blind. Knives No She could hurt herself by accident. Bow and arrow Zuko already did that with Azula and would get jealous if he did it with another pup.

And finally it hit Zuko. A great weapon for the young pup would be a staff. Especially if he asked Toph to make it out of rocks. Extra connection to earthbending and something she could use to search around and hit people with as an extra thought if they got too close. Zuko could hear the praise now.

Zuko then took a deep breath and proceeded to walk up the Toph. Who so happened to be in the midst of getting into an argument with the Duke boy who happened to be a young unpresented pup.

Toph who was letting up angry pheromones with yelling “ No Snoozles I'm not going to stop yelling. This little brat's scenting is my rock.” Sokka who is hoarding on to the Duke I looked exhausted of this clearly ongoing argument.

Sokka with a deep sigh “ Toph it's just a rock! it's not that much of a big deal plus You're older than him. What exactly is so important about that rock but you have to keep hissing at Duke?”

Zuko gave a small smile as he heard the little boy screaming “It's the Duke!!”. Then watching as the boy stomps on Sokka's foot and runs off. Leaving Sokka to react childish and a hissing Toph as The Duke ran off in another direction.

Zuko had walked up as Toph, making the Earth shake as you stumped back over to her rock. Zuko softly smelt the soft Alpha pup scent that she had so obviously been putting all over the rock. Zuko had stood by the water tribe boy Sokka who was sitting down and holding onto his foot.

Zuko with an awkward look on his face had cleared his throat and said
“ If I am to put in Toph has been scenting that rock. That's why she has been so upset at that boy The Duke touching all up on it. It's an alpha thing. She's bound to grow out of it. Let's just be happy she isn't peeing on things? ”

Zuko tried his best to make a joke at the end of that. But Sokka had given him an upset looking look as he had been still holding on his foot loudly and said
“ You alpha and Omega freaking weird. Getting that mad over a rocking mate smells some way so strange. Well jerk Bender since you seem to know what's going on You can go calm down Toph why I stay here and watch you fail.”

Zuko I took in a deep breath before turning around and slowly making his way over to Toph and her rock. Zuko was trying his best to mother up all the confidence he had from dealing with Azula alpha pup behavior. There is no way in Zuko's mind that Toph could be 6 times the mischief and destruction that Azula was causing.
