Lee’s Know’s POV
“Oh no!” Haseul cried out as we walked inside. “This place is completely trashed.”
Soyeon frowned as she picked up the empty bucket, she was staring at the wet floor as Miyeon went to get a mop.
“Fucking assholes!” Miyeon cursed as she went to clean up the mess on the floor. “If I want to deal with arrogant assholes who know shit about our kind then I would’ve stayed in Korea.”
My fist clenched in anger.
I know the bastard who did this.
“Seungmin you bastard, you’ll pay for this.” I mumbled under my breath.
“We created this place for days, weeks even and some monster decided to destroy it just because they don’t like witches.” Soyeon commented.
Since the beginning of Adam and Eve monsters have roamed around this earth but they remained in hiding because humans were afraid of them. Five hundred years ago a town called Haven Hollows was created, a town where monsters are able to live in peace. No one knew the identities of the founders except there were rumors of the town having five founders until one of them fell down the wrong path and the other was accused and ridiculed by the judgemental stares of everyone so there’s now only three of the unknown founders.
Witches were seen as monsters in the eyes of a human but we were seen as humans in the eyes of a monster.
We created this coven so the witches who live in Haven Hollows could have a safe place to practice our magic.
“Wait,” Seulgi says. “Where’s our familiars? They’re not here.”
I immediately ran over to the spot we had specifically designed to let our familiars rest.
The beds were ripped apart and the stuffing rested on the floor. Our familiars were there and they didn’t look to be in harm.
My cat, Sonnie, walked up to me and sat on my lap. I scratched behind his ears as I looked at the spot filled with the familiars.
Sonnie and Doongie are here, Lulu and Lala are here, Latte, Elly, and Peony are here. Wait, where’s Dori?
“The familiars are safe but Dori is missing.”
Haseul put her hand over her mouth as everyone looked at me with worry in their eyes.
I got up and I walked towards the door with a knife in my hand.
“Watch the familiars, I’ll be back.”
“Where are you going?” Seulgi asks.
“I’m going to kill the bastard that kidnapped my cat.”

Seungmin’s POV
“Stop! No! Stop!” I yelled as I ran over to my tree. I stood in front of the tree, facing an angry looking Lee Know. His knife was touching the tree ready to cut the bark.
“Stay away from my tree!”
He raised his knife and he pressed it against my neck.
Trickles of dark red blood dripped down the knife but the droplets of blood soon turned into tiny pieces of flowers.
He looks at the flowers in disgust as he wipes the blade.
“Give me my cat Seungmin.”
“Which cat? you have three.”
“You have Dori. Give him back.”
“I don’t have your cat.”
He pressed the knife against my chest.
“Bullshit! You destroyed my coven and kidnapped one of my cats!”
I stared at him in confusion.
“I don’t know what you’re talking about.”
“Give me back my cat or I’ll stab you in your chest.”
I scoff.
“Do it, I know you’re secret so even if you do kill me, I got friends who would gladly help make your life a living hell.”
I knew him since we were little kids, I hated witches for so long that I knew a few secrets that the witches would do anything to cover up.
“I know your secret as well, I can tell everyone.”
“Go ahead, I’m not stopping you.”
He kept the knife pressed against my chest as he was thinking of what to do next. I used his distraction to my advantage and I conjured thorns to rise above the surface and had them wrap around his leg. I moved my hand up and the thorns listened and lifted Lee Know up in the air. He yelped in pain as the knife fell from his hand and fell to the ground.
I picked it up and threw it in the distance.
His brown eyes stared at mine as I reached my hand up to touch his face.
Why does he have to be so beautiful?
I knew him for so long, hated him for so long but for some reason I’m always soft on him. I never knew why but every time I looked at him I could never hurt him. Even now, when he comes into my forest threatening to kill my tree, kill me, I just can’t hurt him.
I had the thorns set him down gently on the ground. I bent down to look at his leg and I used my thumb to wipe the blood off his leg.
“You should leave now and clean up your wound before it gets infected.”
He scoffs and pushes me away.
“Shut up. If you don’t give me back Dori in an hour, I’ll come back and I will kill your tree and I’ll never see you again.”
He left the forest and I heard something meowing. I turned my head around and saw a cat next to me.
His fur pattern is a mackerel tabby. I saw this cat a lot, I knew who this cat was.
“Dori, what are you doing here?” He meows something in response and I picked him up and I held him in my arms. “Your owner is worried about you. I sadly don’t have food that you can eat here but I have a friend who will make sure you eat and he lives close to your owner so let’s go now.”
I left the forest and went to see Jeongin.

“Innie!” I yelled out as I kicked the door open. Jeongin jumps off the couch, startled as I woke him up from his nap.
“What the hell Seungmin. I was sleeping.”
I showed him the cat in my arms.
“He needs some food.”
Jeongin squinted as he stared at the cat.
“That’s Dori. Did you seriously kidnap Lee Know’s cat?”
“No but he thought I did. He had a knife and was going to kill me but I used my thorns to stop him and he said he would return if I didn’t give him Dori in an hour and literally right when he left the cat showed up.”
He raised an eyebrow.
“I don’t believe that.”
“It’s the truth.”
“You hate him so why didn’t you steal his cats then.”
“Because that’s too mean, I hate his guts but I wouldn’t steal his cats.”
“So why are you here and not returning the cat to Lee Know?”
“I want to make sure Dori eats before I return him back to his owner so do you have any food for him?” I asked. “Haven Forest is filled with berries and plants but I’m worried that he would eat a poisonous one while I’m not looking.”
“Maybe, let me go check.” He got up from the couch and went to the kitchen.
“By the way, did you went into his apartment by any chance?” He asked and I looked at him confused.
“No, why?”
“The door was slightly open, so I figured you broke into his apartment.” Jeongin responded as he opened the cabinets. “Earlier I heard noises coming from his apartment, like he was throwing things and glass was breaking but he was probably upset about something.”
I know Lee Know, even if he’s upset he wouldn’t just throw his stuff around and alarm any of his neighbors.
What’s going on?
I have a bad feeling about this.
I ignored Jeongin yelling out my name as I ran out of his place with Dori in my arms and I ran over to Lee Know’s place which is two doors down from Jeongin’s and next door to a gorgeous fairy named Lee Felix.
I kicked the door down and my heart sank as I could only focus on the place that was ruined.
I stepped inside and everything was ruined. Pieces of glass were all over the place and the furniture was destroyed. I could even smell a strong scent of blood that I had to cover my nose so I wouldn’t have to smell it anymore.
“What the hell happened here?” Jeongin’s voice came from behind and I turned around to face him with panic in my face.
“There’s blood.” I said. “I need you to smell it.”
Jeongin’s eyes widened but he listened to me. He steps forward and touched some blood that was spilled on the couch. Kumiho have an excellent sense of smell.
”I can smell blood coming from different three types of people, Lee Know is one of the blood I smelled.”
Someone must have figured out his secret and that’s what must be why they decided to trash his home and coven.
They want Lee Know and they now have him.
“Come on, we have to go.” I said as I walked out of his apartment and closed the door and then left Megaverse Apartment Complex.
Jeongin followed me and picked Dori up from my arms and he’s now holding him.
“Where are we going?” He asks.
“To his coven.” I responded. “The other witches must know something.”
I hate witches and I hate Lee Know but right now he’s in danger, I have to save him.
He made sure no one knew his secret.
I’m going to kill the bastards who took him and I’m going to make sure they never spill his secret for the other monsters to know or else we’ll both be in danger.
