This is not where Sora thought he was gonna end up at when he…disappeared. Because he didn’t die, he’s just not physically in his world right now.
Or maybe he did and this is the afterlife?
Sora turned around in a circle to look around. It’s a pretty nice place, all things considered. He felt like he didn’t belong here with all these empty thrones and a nice view of the-HOW HIGH UP IS HE?
Wait…is this Olympus? It doesn’t like look the Olympus he knows…
”What are you doing here, boy? And put that thing away.”
He jumped and he must’ve summoned his keyblade to defend himself when he saw a tall man wearing a suit staring at him, sitting on his throne. A very tall man, actually. How did he do that?
”Um…” Not cool place, are you Zeus, why do you have a lightning bolt in your hand? Just um? His keyblade disappeared since he didn’t seem to be a threat.
The man shrunk down to mortal size and headed over to him. “I called for Percy Jackson, not a kid with a giant key. Who are you and what are you doing here?”
”I’m Sora!” He grinned and held out his hand for a shake. Zeus didn’t shake it so he put his hand down. “And I don’t know…unless you’ve seen some little black monsters with yellow eyes wandering around? Or any other strange things like that?” Please just be normal heartless, he needed something easy.
”Zeus.” He thought about it. “Hmm…I suppose Artemis talked about seeing some of those in our last meeting. Her Hunters couldn’t kill them, she said.” He neglected to mention that Artemis herself said she couldn’t kill them, because that’s nonsense! They’re gods, they can kill anything or anyone that gets in their way!
”Great!” Zeus gave him a look. “I mean, not great. Bad, very bad. But if Artemis couldn’t deal with them, then maybe that’s why I’m here.”
”Are you saying that you’re stronger than a god?” His lightning bolt crackled and Sora put his hands up. “No Lord Zeus, I just meant that normal weapons won’t have any effect on them! They’ll just keep coming back like nothing happened.”
He seemed a bit satisfied after being shown respect (everyone should do that more often in his opinion) and calmed down. “So you’re saying you know how to handle those pests?”
”Yes.” He’s very good at that.
Zeus narrowed his eyes. “You don’t seem like a demigod…perhaps you’re a clear-sighted mortal, or not. In any case, go to Camp Half-Blood. The people there should be able to help you…if you can see it or someone lets you in.”
”Why wouldn’t I-“
”Now shoo, begone!” He teleported Sora away and sat back on his throne. Although he’d rather someone more experienced doing the job, as long as the kid gets rid of them there won’t be any problems. No more problems means no more kid with giant key questioning everything. It was a win in his book.
