Lyric is silent—and still holding your hand—as his eyes track over your face, trying to gage your response. You tilt your head as you parse through his words. “So you just want to watch me flirt with Sinclaire? And use us as inspiration for your book?”
Before you realize what’s happening, Sinclaire is grabbing your other wrist and pulling you down into his lap. He wraps his arms around your midsection, his fingers trailing lightly over your sides in a way that feels sensual, rather than ticklish. Your face burns crimson when Sinclaire whispers into your ear, “Oh sweetheart, I think he wanted to watch a lot more than a little flirting.” He raises a metal brow at the other man. “Isn’t that right, Lyric?”
