A sudden shift
remodels the world
Knowledge that has always been control
now ensues chaos
The universe called into question
The uncertainty of answers
will be the onset of a new presence
A bitter one
A better one
To exist in parallel places
where picks don’t feel like choices
and decisions will reach beyond
The soil is churned up
with greens still growing
Other kernels will have to root
Hoping the rain will mend and nourish
Holding on to confidence
Holding on to love
To turn the precarious reality
into a solidified hereafter
