Taehyung bounds down the cab after he has paid, but not without a "Have a nice day!" and his signature smile. He enters the resort he has booked for two nights.
Marvelling at the interior of the lobby, he heads over to the Concierge to retrieve his room keys and settle in. It was already evening, and he thought it would be a good to stay in his room and plan the activities for the next few days.
"Welcome to Disney's Contemporary Resort! How may I help you?" The lady at the counter said.
"Uh, hi, I made a booking, can I have the keys for room...?" Taehyung said, with difficulty. God, this was harder than he thought it would be.
"Of course! May I have your credit card?" Taehyung handed her the card.
"Here's your key cards and these are your passes for breakfast, which will be on the second floor restaurant," She smiled.
"T-thanks," Taehyung said, before allowing the Porter to bring his luggage up.
He walked to the lifts, admiring the interior design of the huge lobby and the monorail he would take the next day to Magic Kingdom. As he took the lift up to his floor, he hummed the tune to 'For The First Time In Forever'.
Taehyung slid the key card against the door lock, and after hearing a 'click', he breathed in, before pushing the door open, dragging his luggage with him, inside. The first thing that caught Taehyung's eye was the awesome view it provided. The sky was a beautiful shade of blue, and the ceiling to floor glass window allowed him to overlook the bay next to the resort. Taehyung stood before the glass, silently admiring the scenery before checking out the rest of the room.
He set his toiletries in the bathroom before taking all the brochures he had collected at the Concierge beforehand and spreading them on his bed. Spending half an hour planning, Taehyung hadn't even realized that it was almost dinnertime and he hadn't even washed up yet. The sky outside was already an orange hue, the dusky lighting dim in his room. Taehyung stood to collect his clothes before he headed into the bathroom.
As he scrubbed himself down, Taehyung thought of the plans he had made for the next day. Tomorrow would be mostly spent in Magic Kingdom, one of the theme parks in Disney World and boy was Taehyung born ready for his adventure.

Taehyung sung, the lyrics tumbling from his chest. He had always loved to sing in the shower, and what better opportunity to belt out Disney songs in the shower in a Disney resort? He closes his eyes and imagines a voice, sweet and cherubic, singing Princess Jasmine's part.

Taehyung opens his eyes. The voice isn't in his head, its real. It's even better than he has imagined, the treble voice echoing through the bathroom walls. Who could it be? Taehyung thought. Just then, he presses his ear close to the wall of the cubicle, and he hears the voice even clearer. So the voice is his neighbour's, he concludes. He decides to play along.

Their voices meld together, swirling and separating and twining together again, and Taehyung swears the harmony wasn't intended. But they sound great together, and he wonders if it's meant to be.

They end the duet with overlapping voices and damn, they should have recorded that down. Taehyung sighs, thanking the lords thin bathroom walls and beautifully-voiced hotel room neighbours. Maybe Taehyung will find true love here after all. And maybe Disney movies have just a little bit too much influence on him. Blame Taehyung for being such a hopeless romantic.
He exits the bathroom cubicle, but starts a new song. Maybe mystery neighbour will hear him and sing with him again. You never know until you try, right?
It's hard to believe

Taehyung starts, the beat fresh in his mind. High School Musical has always been one of his childhood favourites, after all. Praying that mystery neighbour would answer with Sharpay's verse, Taehyung visibly deflates when nothing comes back after the beat has gone. He turns to leave the bathroom, before a faint sound catches his attention.

Taehyung perks up, and scrambles back into the bathroom cubicle to catch the next line with the voice.

Taehyung smiles. Maybe the Disney movies were true, after all. He thinks he might already have a little crush on mystery neighbour. He turns to leave the bathroom to dress, but not before he says, loudly, "Have a nice evening!"
He thinks he hears a muffled response, but he can't make out what he's saying. Taehyung shrugs a little, before closing the bathroom door behind him. Tomorrow, he'll find out who mystery neighbour is, all right. But right now he still has a grumbling stomach to placate. He slips into comfortable ripped jeans, an oversized t-shirt and jacket before grabbing his mobile phone, wallet and earpiece. On his way out Taehyung toes into his Timberlands and grabs his key card, shutting the door behind him. Cheerfully, he skips into a lift to head to one of the hotel restaurants to have dinner.
After his meal, Taehyung decides to have a little walk by the poolside. By then, the sky is already dark blue, the darkest shade Taehyung has ever seen and the stars in the sky twinkling. Taehyung spots a boy, sitting by the pool benches around his age and gazing at the night sky. He looked at the very least Asian, so Taehyung, a tad bit lonely, tries to strike a conversation with him.
"H-Hi," He stutters, internally cursing himself. Smooth Taehyung, smooth, He can already hear Jungkook's voice laughing at him.
"Hi," The boy smiles, and those smiling eyes catch Taehyung completely off guard. If this were some anime Taehyung would be having a nosebleed right then.
"Beautiful night, huh?" The boy says, and Taehyung thinks the voice is familiar, but wait-did he catch a Korean accent in the boy's words?
Cautiously, he asks, in Korean, "Are you Korean?"
The boy's eyes light up in the dark night. "Yes! I can't believe I found someone that actually speaks Korean here!"
Taehyung laughs, delighted. He claps his hands. "Me too! I'm Kim Taehyung, from Daegu, but I work in Seoul, what about you?"
"I'm Park Jimin, I'm from Busan, I work in Seoul too!" Jimin chirps, grinning.
"Oh, Jungkookie is from Busan too," Taehyung says, absentmindedly.
"Wait-you know Jungkook? Jeon Jungkook?" Jimin says then.
"Yeah, he's my best friend!" Taehyung replies. The world really is that small.
"He used to be my dongsaeng when we were in university, but we kind of lost contact when we graduated," Jimin says, his right hand rubbing at his neck.
"I see! I can hook you guys up when I get back," Taehyung says, and they both smile at each other. Their conversation dies then, and they stare into the night, side by side, drowned in comfortable silence.
Taehyung looks at the time. "Well, I should get going, It was nice chatting with you, but I have to go now, its getting late..." He trailed off, not really wanting to leave behind the familiarity of someone from his country.
"That's okay!" Jimin says, flashing that eye-smile again. "But is it okay if I get your number? You know, for Jungkookie..."
Taehyung agrees, and takes Jimin's mobile phone and keys in his number. "There." He says softly, suddenly all too aware of their almost nonexistent proximity. He withdraws jerkily, and squeaks a "Good night!" Before dashing back to the safety of the lift.
When Taehyung is safely back in his hotel room, he collapses against the door, holding his burning face in his hands. What was that? He chastises himself, for embarrassing himself in front of the only person he can actually converse normally with here.
When Taehyung is sure that all the blood that has rushed to his face has gone away, he rises, undressing till he only has his boxers and t-shirt on, and slips into the bed, playing with his phone. When he finally puts it away in favour of a good night's rest, he suddenly hears mystery neighbour's voice drifting in from outside his room.

The voice gradually travels until it is right behind Taehyung's bed and he thanks the lord for the thin hotel walls yet again. The lyrics flow from his mouth like water from a fountain.

Their duet works like a lullaby, and as the voice fades away, Taehyung allows the grabby hands of sleep drag him away into the depths of darkness where twinkling stars and smiling eyes haunt his dreams for the first time in the place of Wonderland.

The first thing that Taehyung wakes up to is mystery neighbour's voice, and he had to admit that he really wants the voice as his alarm clock every single morning. The silvery voice travels through the wall separating them both, and Taehyung lays there quietly, listening to the voice as he slowly gains full consciousness.

Taehyung thinks that mystery neighbour's voice is very possibly a thousand times better than anyone from the movies. He begins his own song to start up his day, to express his happiness for today is the day he finally goes to Magic Kingdom, his land of dreams.

Taehyung finishes, and he's done getting ready for his day out. His outfit is Ariel inspired, and when he stands in front of the full-length mirror, he is satisfied with the combination. He takes an OOTD to post on his blog, before shoving his phone, power bank, sunglasses and his daily necessities into his black backpack before heading out.
As he does a last check of his room, Taehyung takes his key card out of the slot and exits his room, clicking the door shut with a 'ka-chunk'. He hears humming right beside him, and he turns around to find out just who it is humming the tune to 'Look Through My Eyes' from Brother Bear.
What he sees takes him completely by surprise. Standing there is Park Jimin, with a backpack slung over his shoulder and snapback fit backwards on his mass of black hair. Taehyung's mouth drops open, because, hell, if he thought Jimin looked good last night then he is absolutely stunning now. With the good lighting and his position, Taehyung catches sight of a not too child-friendly jaw-line, slim hips and muscular thighs that he has to resist drooling over.
Jimin seems to feel his stare, because he turns to glance at Taehyung, and does a double take before saying, "Taehyung?"
"Jimin," Taehyung snaps out of his daze, and finally responds. "Wait, you're the one that sings with me?"
Jimin gapes at him for a while, before nodding.
Still stuck in a trance, they walk, side-by-side, to the lifts and thank god they're not alone in the lift or it would have been majorly awkward and not a single bit like Taehyung has imagined it would be like.
"You have a nice voice," Taehyung finally says, as they settle down at a table to grab things from the generous buffet spread.
Jimin blushes-like a true, rosy red blush that go to the tip of his ears, before saying, "I like your voice too," and fuck if Taehyung is not preening because of the compliment.
After they are both seated at the table, food in pristine white plates before them and juice decked out in clear tall glasses, Jimin asks Taehyung about his activities for the day.
"Oh, I'll be going to the Magic Kingdom today," Taehyung swallows his food.
"Really? Me too!" Jimin says, "You know what would be great?"
"What?" Taehyung says, curious.
"If the both of us go together," Jimin says, innocently as if he wasn't trying to suggest to Taehyung that he wanted to spend his day together.
"Are you trying to pick me up?" Taehyung jokes and Jimin chokes on his juice and immediately denies it.
"You're so cute when you're embarrassed," Taehyung says, not looking up from his food, and completely oblivious of the scarlet hue that has taken over Jimin's cheeks.
But when he does, he notices it finally, and apologises. "I'm sorry, I went too far," he says. Seriously, what was wrong with him, he doesn't even tease Jungkook that much.
"It's okay," Jimin says then, quietly.

"Uh, what are you doing?" Jimin says, staring at Taehyung.
Taehyung was leaning against the walls of the monorail train, right beside Jimin who was sitting in one of the seats. He stared blatantly at Jimin.
"I'm spending my day together with you?" Taehyung said, as if it wasn't obvious enough.
A little smile-one of those with the mouth closed-turned up the corners of Jimin's mouth as he heard the sentence fondly. All of a sudden Jimin realised he had become so attached to Taehyung in so little time. Well, Jimin thinks to himself, some familiarity never hurts, right?
Wrong. So, so wrong because Jimin swears his arm is going to be dislocated as Taehyung practically drags him toward the ticketing counters of the park, which had yet to be open. After purchasing their tickets, Jimin had to suffer yet another round of harsh manhandling by the over-energized fluffball of Taehyung, who had hauled him over to the queue that was starting to grow.
As they fell into line behind a couple with linked hands, Taehyung whipped out his phone to capture a selca of them both to post on his blog. After he had completed the task, Taehyung became increasingly bored, so he threw a side glance at Jimin. Jimin was looking at his phone, and Taehyung couldn't help but notice that his colour combination looked a little familiar. Just where had he seen it from?
Yellow, blue and red, yellow, blue and red, yellow, blue and red...
Snow White!
"You dressed as Snow White?!" Taehyung accused.
"You just noticed that? How observant," Jimin said, raising his head to look at Taehyung.
"Well, if I wasn't so distracted by-" Taehyung stopped himself mid-sentence. God, that was a close call. If I wasn't so distracted by your cuteness I would have noticed.
Jimin gave him a weird look, and opened his mouth to question him. But just then, the queue started moving, and they had to hand over their tickets to the ticketing staff. Taehyung had never been so grateful for an interruption in his entire life.
And then they're in, into the land where Taehyung has seen when he lays in his bed at least a couple million times, into the place where Taehyung will turn over over and over in his memories like a precious shining thing. Taehyung snaps a few photos, and then he's off, hand clasped tightly around Jimin's, dashing towards the location that he has already spent yester-night mapping out.
"C'mon!" He says to Jimin, as they dash to beat the crowd that is heading towards the various attractions already.
They stop at Tomorrowland first, where they go on Space Mountain first. At first Jimin is slightly hesitant, after seeing the large exterior and coming to the worst conclusion about the ride. Clinging to Taehyung, who all but carries him inside, he only stops whining and tightens his death grip on Taehyung's forearm as he is buckled in to the first row seat of the roller coaster.
"I don't wanna die, Tae," He whimpers.
Taehyung shivers at the pet name, but he teases, "Too late,"
As if on cue, the roller coaster starts moving, but it is slow, as it elevates steeply into a tunnel with a stunning display of the galaxy. Jimin's hold relaxes a little, and he thinks, this isn't too bad, but just then they exit the tunnel and swoop sharply to the left, then to the right, and he is so terrified he squeezes his eyes shut, mouth open but with no sound in a silent scream.
Taehyung notices this, then pats Jimin's head comfortingly, saying, "Look, Jiminie,"
Jimin's eyes snapped wide open at the nickname, but just as he was about to question it, he caught a glimpse of the interior of the ride. It was the darkest shade of blue Jimin had ever seen, and the planets and stars swirl by them as the rollercoaster slowed down, before picking up speed again, zooming in a downwards spiral, so fast that Jimin had trouble keeping his eyes open.
When they finally got off, Jimin stumbled a little, still dizzy from the ride, and colliding into Taehyung's chest. They stumble off the platform, until Taehyung steadies Jimin with a hand on his hips. Jimin lets out a tiny puff of air before he is pushing off, apologising with a furious blush raging across his face.
Taehyung pretends he doesn't see it, and instead tugs on Jimin's hand to go to the other attractions. They got to the other attractions, whizzed around in the rides and even rode the little cars in Tomorrowland Speedway, and by the time they were heading to Fantasyland, their arms were around each other's shoulders and they were wearing the widest grins on their faces.
They lined up for a picture with Ariel, Taehyung smacking Jimin when he complained about the long line and telling him that 'Everything is worth Ariel,'. Ariel ends up giving Taehyung a kiss on a cheek and Jimin definitely does not feel a pang inside of him.
They also take The Barnstormer, Jimin terrified out of his pants and Taehyung ending up apologising unapologetically, promising a stick of candy floss to a pouting Jimin. Taehyung belatedly realises that he can't seem to deny Jimin of anything, especially if he's doing that adorable pouty thingy he does with this mouth and eyes.
Then after that to make up to Jimin, they go on the slower rides as well as shows, all of which Jimin stares, wide-eyed at the colourful display and Taehyung ends up looking at Jimin instead of the attractions. Mickey's PhilharMagic has Jimin giggling and Taehyung tries his bestest to lock it in the depths of his mind.
The Haunted Mansion that Taehyung dares Jimin to go into has him clasping Taehyung's hand tightly both as they queue and as they board the Doom Buggy. But it isn't that scary at all, and Jimin relaxes his hold just a fraction, because he still wants to use this as an excuse to link hands.
He doesn't realise just exactly why he does this until lunchtime.
Which is how he finds himself stilling as he chews on his plate of Her Majesty's catch of the day. He is staring past the stained glass windows, recalling the past two hours as he overlooks the rest of Fantasyland. So when he glances back at Taehyung, who has his eyes narrowed in concentratian trying to slice the meat off his short ribs, he finally realises the reason for his affection for the younger.
Taehyung doesn't notice his slight pause, and doesn't look up. Jimin breathes out a sigh, averting his gaze back to the view.
"Do you want to share dessert?" Taehyung asks out of the blue, startling Jimin.
Jimin shyly nods, and Taehyung really, really has to resist the urge to coo at Jimin and squish his cheeks. When the dish is served, they both ogle at the beautiful presentation, and Taehyung can't, absoutely can't forget the way Jimin moaned, fucking moaned, when he dug in. The sound will definitely haunt him at night.
After lunch they stop to see a few street performances, and head over to Frontierland. Of course, the first thing Taehyung begs Jimin to go on is Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, which Jimin succumbs to eventually with approximately one round of Taehyung's puppy eyes.
By the time they get off the tram, Jimin thinks it's the worst ride in the park. Just when he thought the ride was over, they whoosh backwards and through another route, with the huge ass explosion sound that he whimpers at, burying his head into Taehyung's shoulder. He doesn't even register what he has done until the end of the ride when Taehyung gently tugs him off the roller coaster, eyes so, so soft.
But the cover is dropped promtply when JImin is once again, locked into a log, a fucking log, and is pushed down with a water current right into a nest of thorns at a ninety degree plunge. He screams, like really screams, and its not until the staff at the station clap at the 'bravery' of the riders does he peek them open, glaring t Taehyung, who, at this point has dropped all pretenses and isn't sorry at all.
They climb up the Swiss Family Treehouse, where Taehyung timidly slips his hand through Jimin's. Jimin's body gives a small jolt at the warmth of Taehyung's fingers, and squeezes it a little, not daring to look at him.
Okay, can I just, say something crazy?
Taehyung has soft pink dusted across his cheekbones, but he glances back at Jimin when he starts softly singing the tune of Love Is An Open Door and he thinks that maybe, just maybe, that might actually mean something.

They end and a little crowd is following them as they duet while walking through the streets of the Main Street, USA, to get to the Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom. Jimin blushes a little when he notices the people staring at them, and the kids looking at them in wonder, because really, why would Snow White and Ariel sing something from Frozen?
But they don't really care, all they see right now is each other.
And when they play the game, even the villains raise their eyebrows at their linked hands and smirked at them. Jimin was particularly mortified when Hades said, "Are you guys on your honeymoon?" Before engaging in their 'Battle'. Taehyung just laughed.
Needless to say, when they get to their hotels, Taehyung sneaks into Jimin's room and cuddles with him that night.
